About
Precision Gardens Ltd was originally founded in 2009 by Nick Palmer working alone as a sole trader. Over the next five years the customer base steadily grew mostly by word of mouth. In 2013 Precision Gardens Limited was formed, Over time we have moved away from our domestic maintenance beginnings to what we offer now. We directly employ permanent members of staff whose broad knowledge allows us to offer an extensive range of services. For some mechanical operations we use bonified subcontractors to fulfil specialist tasks.

Nick Palmer
Director and Gardener
Nick is a hands on director who much prefers getting stuck in and completing work rather that sitting in front of a computer. Even though he has a degree in Industrial Design, he has had a passion for the outdoors and gardening from a young age and now holds numerous machinery and landscaping based qualifications to supplement his growing knowledge of the industry.
Lisa Palmer
Director
Lisa's role in the business is mainly clerical and assisting with the day to day running of the business. However, she is not affraid of getting her hands dirty to cover holidays and sickness.
Ross Dickinson
Grounds maintenance Team Leader
Ross joined the team full time in 2022. He had previously worked for us during his holidays whilst at university. Ross runs one of our maintenance teams that looks after both our high end domestic clients as well as a large number of commercial maintenance contracts that we deliver.
Tony Kershaw
Landscape Team Leader
Tony joined the team in February 2017. His background is being a hard landscaper, but he has quickly adapted to working as part of our maintenance teams. Tony leads our landscaping works as well as well as carrying out general maintenance work. Even though Tony is now semi-retired, he is still a key member of the team with a lifetime of knowledge in the industry.
Simon Bloom
Landscape Gardener
Simon joined the team in January 2021. He works on all aspects of the business and loves to get stuck into big clearance jobs. Simon has a great enthusiasm for what he does and spends the majority of his time on our Ground Control contracts around the Greater Manchester area
Oliver Hirst
Landscape Gardener
Ollie is our latest recruit. He joined the team in early 2023. Although he had no prior experience, he soon got stuck in and has learnt an awful lot in two years. Ollie is fast becoming a great asset to our team.
